The Ninth AnnualGeneral Meeting

...  was held on Sat. April 26th, 1913 at the Gt. Western Hotel, Reading.

1. The Minutes of the last General Meeting were read, confirmed & signed.

2. The Annual Report & audited statement of accounts were submittted to the Meeting by the Chairman. These were unanimously adopted.

3. The following nominations to the Committee were announced - Mr. Tydd & Mr. Vallange. These gentlemen wer unanimously elected. The co-option on the Committee of Mr.S.E. Garche was confirmed.

4. The Hon.Treasurer submitted his budget for 1913.

5. Proposals (a) that the Club should refund to the R.A.C. the grant of 5/- per head on individual associates in the County for 1912, & (b) that the existing financial agreement between the Club & the R.A.C. be waived for 1913 in favour of the terms proposed by the R.A.C. & set forth in the Report, were both unanimously negatived on the ground that the present difficulty in which the General Committee of the R.A.C. found itself was entirely due to the heavy expenses entailed by its "Touring Guides", of whicih the Club did not approve. The Hon.Sec. was instructed to write pointing this out to the Sec. of the R.A.C. & the Representative of the Club was also asked to inform the General Committee at its Meeting on May 8th.

6. The Hon.Sec. informed the members the arrangements which had beeen made for a Club Garage at Maidenhead.

7. The Hon.Treas. & the Hon.Sec. explained the negotiations which had taken place with regard to the supply  of Benzol to members at co-operative prices. It was agreed to accept the offer of a Reading dealer to supply Benzol at 1/4 a gall. in bulk & 1/5 in tins, carriage paid to any railway station in the County.

8. A vote of thanks to the Chairman proposed by Dr. Paterson seconded by Capt. Waring terminated the proceedings.
