BERKSHIRE AUTOMOBILE
CLUB
The 30th Annual Meeting held at No 1 Friar Street,
Reading on Saturday May 25th, 1935.
1. Present: Major Portal (in the Chair), Mr S a Court, Mrs Loder
Symonds, Miss Noble, Mrs
Palmer, Sir A Lowry, Mrs Hope Lowry, Mrs Uniacke, Dr
Gordon Paterson and Hon. Sec.
2. The Secretary read the notice calling the Meeting, the Minutes were
read, confirmed and agreed.
3. Proposed by Sir A. Lowry seconded by Dr Gordon Paterson that the
accounts be passed. (carried).
4. Proposed by Mr S A Court seconded by Mrs Lower Symonds that owing to
lack of support, the proposed gymcana be abandoned. (carried).
5. Proposed by Mrs Palmer seconded by Miss Noble that Badge No's with
card attached be issued to all members in time for Henley Regatta
(carried).
6. Proposed by Mrs Uniacke seconded by Lt.Col. Orr tht 1 guinea a year
be subscribed to the S.P.P.A. (carried).
8. The Chairman then left the Chair, Mr S a Court taking his place
proposed Sir A Lowry seconding that Major Portal be reelected Chairman.

7. The Hon.Sec. stated that Lt Col Ovey wished to resign from the
Committee. The Chairman porposed and Mrs Palmer seconded that Siri A
Lowry be elected in his place (carried).
Brigadier General C Yatman as Hon Auditor was also electged and the
Hon.Sec. was instructed to write him a letter of thanks for kindly
auditing the accounts.
