CLUB
The 28th Annual General Metting was held at the Great
Western Hotel Reading at 12 noon on Saturday, May 6th, 1933.

2. The Secretary read the notice calling the Meeting. The Minutes were
read, confirmed and signed.
3. The chairman explained the accounts, already circulated to members
which showed a credit balance on the year of £10:4:1. Assets had
now readed £700. The Committee had got of £300 ????.
Proposed by Mr Palmer, seconed by Dr Secretan that the accounts be
adopted and passed. Carried.
4. Proposed by Mr Fryer, seconded by Col A.G.Work - that £300 be
invested in Post Office Savings Banks - and that another 150 Savings
Certificates be purchased to bring up the total to 500.
5. Proposed by Mrs Palmer seconded by Dr Secretan that Mr Wild be
accpeted as the Solicitor to the Club. Carried.
6. Proposed by Dr Secretan seconded by Mrs Palmer that Mrs Loder
Symonds be appointed ??? Vice for Shrapnell Smith. Carried.
7. Proposed by Mr Fryer seconded by Mr Work that the Committee be
re-elected en bloc.
8. The Committee proposed that the entrance fee of one guinea be
temporarily suspended as per fees as 1933 limited to 25 new members.
9. Mr S à Court takes the Chair. Proposed by Mrs Palmer seconded
by Mr Secretan that Major Portal be re elected Chairman for 1933.
Carried unanimously.
