The Fifteenth Annual Gen. Meeting
...held at Gt. Western Hotel at 12 noon Sat 24
April 1920.
Present: Major E.R.Portal in the Chair & E.S. Shrapnell
Smith. Dr J. Hopkinson Walters, A.D. Selkirk, Capt. O.J. Llewellyn,
Major H. Ingram, Dr. W.B. Secretan, Miss E.V. Noble & S. à
Court.
1. Notice convening the meeting was read by the Hon. Sec.
2. The Minutes of the previous meeting were taken as read and confirmed
and signed by the Chairman.
3. The Hon Treasurer submitted the accounts & balance sheet with
the auditors certificate - a copy of the accounts having already been
sent to all members.
4. The Chairman [updated] in the work of the club during he past year
and particularly referred to the excellent arrangements made by Mr.
à Court for Henley and by Capt. & Mrs Llewellyn & Mr
à Court for the Club Ball.
5. The Chairman referred to the assignation of Mr à Court as
Hon. Secretary which [resulted] by all - Mr à Court was elected
to the Committee in place of Major Ingram who undertook the part of
Hon. Sec. in place of Mr à Court.
6. A presentation was made to Mr à Court on behalf of the
members in recognition of his very valuable services - as
secretary of the Club.
7. the Hon. Treasurer proposed the adoption of the accounts &
balance sheet for the past year & this was accordingly passed after
being propopsed by Dr. Walters & seconded by Mr A.D.Selkirk.
8. Capt Secretan was added to the committee.
9. Hon auditors were re-elected, proposed by Major Ingram & sec'd
by Mr Selkirk.
10. Vote of Thanks to Chairman proposed by Mr E.S. Shrapnell Smith
& seconded by Capt. Llewellyn.
